FAST Systems announce display of Database Data as GIS Feature Layers in TERRA 4D
19 August 2019 | Zürich, Switzerland
FAST Systems has enriched its open Integration, Alarm-Management and Visualization platform TERRA 4D to display database data as GIS feature layer.
It is now possible to show historical and real-time data from a database within the 3D GIS windows of TERRA 4D. This feature helps operators in Command and Control Centers to analyze spatial information and present the results a single view.
This capability is called GIS or spatial data mining and offers great benefits for applied GIS-based decision making. Typical applications include environmental monitoring, for example in Smart City projects. Spatial correlation and data measurements for more efficient data analysis is now available in TERRA 4D.
Configuration options in TERRA 4D:
- All gradient colors
- Text label content and visualization
- Shape of bars (square, circle, …)
- Height of bars (relative to values)
- Several layers can be configured
This GIS feature layer is based on shape files. Shape files contain data tables which can be exported from databases.
